Photography: Wonderful World of Color
It's NO SECRET that I wish I had the knowledge and skill to take amazing photographs like these!
It is images like these that remind me just how beautiful and awe inspiring the world is. It also makes me WISH ALL THE MORE that I was a professional photographer!!! I imagine what beauty I could capture from behind the lens.
For now, I just try to make sure it's lit and not fuzzy!
LOL!!!
I promise to give credit when ever possible! Unfortunately, there were no names of the people that took these beautiful pictures! If you know please feel free to tell me so I may give them credit!
I plan to share more wonderful images soon!
If you are a photographer or know of one you love go ahead and let me know and I'll see if I can highlight them in a future post!

The Beach
So, my Aunt and Uncle have a pair of Labs that they take for a walk on the beach every time they visit and this time was no exception. I decided to tag a long since it seems a day by day thing weather I feel better or not. (overall I feel much healthier living here) I took my camera so I could share a picture. I have never taken my camera out. lol. All it knows it taking pictures of my accessories.
I hope to practice and learn to take better over all Real life pictures.
Probably would help if I study the manual.
LOL!
Ah, practice will make better.

JaredKS Photography
I've been a bit all about ME lately and wanted to share the LOVE.
Plus, it's been a bit gloomy the last few days and I NEEDED a bit of sunshine and nothing takes me to another place like a well taken photograph. I have been a fan of JaredKS for a while and realized I NEEDED to share his work with you.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this photo
Good Morning Kansas
When I look at this photo I can almost FEEL the crisp chill in the morning air and the dewy mist against my skin. I don't get this kind of a vision in the congested city that I live in so I appreciate its quiet serenity.
Ah, I SO want to be THERE!
My Next Favorite photo of his is this one:
Morning Glory Pool
This is such a gorgeous reflection of real life! The COLORS! This is simply a trip to look at. LOL! I have never been to Yellowstone and I WISH TO GO someday...before they stop tourists from visiting. (I have heard that in the not too far future they will stop tourism due to all the pollution they bring in to the park...I have to make it in before then!!!!)
Until I get there...I can gaze at this photo and imagine all the beauty there is to see!
Finally..there are just too many to choose from...but THIS ONE,
Energy
My Mind is spinning and I get goose bumps looking at it! Seriously, doesn't this just look like some ominous scene in a movie?! Can't you just about hear the rumble in the distance as the storm rolls above you?! Didn't you just see a flash of lightening just out of the corner of your right eye? ...and then feel the thunder crackling...
OK.
So I have an active imagination.
This is WHY I LOVE a great photograph!
I can imagine all these stories and scenes like in a book!
Well, I highly recommend to go check out
JaredKS's shop.
Perhaps you can create some wonderful stories by hanging a few of his photographs in your homes!

Bueller Designs
I Dreamt of a Distant Shore
The magic of a photograph can transport us to another place and time invoking emotion and creating dreams. I haven't been feeling well the last few days and seeing this photo has helped me feel a bit better. Ah, I wish I was there!
Bueller Designs is a design company based in Los Angeles specializing in photographic art, design and prints to liven up any space.
"I like to take photographs that tug at an emotion deep inside. None of the people in my images, or items on the beach (shells, rocks, etc.) are staged. I like to catch things as they happen or exactly as they are. I believe in the magic of the moment and feel lucky to capture it on film and share it with you. I hope you enjoy my shop even if it's just to look and be inspired!"
Please take a moment to check out her shop!

Alicia Bock Photography
"My photography is the search of light and shadows, pretty things in pink, the feeling of the ocean, and a blue moon. I strive to create photographs
that evoke memories of our favorite days." ~Alicia Bock
Solstace
I have been a huge fan of Alicia Bock for ages! I stare dreamy eyed at her work and tell myself I WILL have it hanging on my walls in my future! lol
Her photographs are simply captivating and I get a warm fuzzy feeling every time I look at them. Her sense of color and composition are perfection. Now, I am NO photographer BUT I think her skills as a photographer are truly phenomenal. The fact that she can create and share SUCH BEAUTY learning all on her own amazes me! Self-taught and truly gifted is what I say!
Hush
The few pictures I have selected to share just do not do her work justice as there are SO MANY to see! PLEASE take a moment to cruise over to her shop and take a look! I'm sure you will definitely see something that will look fabulous in your home or apartment! :P
She also donates a portion of each purchase to benefit Half the Sky Foundation

Flanders Field Photography - Focusing on Nature
I recently came across this AMAZING photographer Jenny Flanders.
She absolutely has a gifted eye for beauty in nature. I enjoy that she limits the amount of post photo work as well. Mainly as she states, what we see is what she took! I just had to share this talent! Many of her photographs radiate joy in color. It simply makes me happy to look at them! Macro photos are some of my personal favorites and I think she does a wonderful job! It truly is an art form!
Here are just a few of my FAVORITE pieces.
She offers prints and even post cards of a few!
Everyone should definitely stop by here shop and check out ALL of her outstanding work!

OH!
And YOU MUST look at his "fold and send" items...they are sooo cool!
8"x10" (20.3cm x 25.5cm). Printed on Ultra Premium Presentation paper with a matte finish.
This was taken in south east Oregon on the high desert.
This was shot on black & white negative film. However it was processed using an unusual technique which turns a black and white negative into an entirely new film: MONOTONE-CHROMES (positives, like slides). The sepia color is a part of the development process. No digital color manipulation was used. If you would like more information on the development process go to dr5.com.
For top quality professional prints I use an Epson printer and Epson Ultra Chrome pigment inks. You can be assured that you will receive a beautiful, high quality, archival, professional print.

One of MY Favorite Artists right now...
The weather has been overcast for the last three days. I have been wanting to take pictures of my new pieces to upload and show you all. I prefer taking pictures in natural lighting. I think there is less distortion (without flash) and I believe it is easier to see the true colors of the pieces. Well, actually, I think this is true for me since I am hardly a professional photographer...and I certainly don't have professional lighting! LOL
HOWEVER, speaking of professional photographers...
Today I will share a piece called "Yellow Orchids."
The photographers name is Lana Dashevsky and you can find her work at www.lanita.etsy.com.
I think this piece is SOO beautiful!
Definitely check out her shop!
