Here's pictures of three new earring sets that I finished.

I added Amethyst Swarovski crystals to a baby soft pink rice pearl. I think it's beautiful against the clean Sterling Silver.

How about the rich Olive tones in my Olivine set?!

It's soo earthy and rich!

The pale pink fresh water pearl against the clear AB Swarovski crystals is my favorite feminine set of the three. These would be lovely on anyone especially a bride.

I think all of these are just classically pretty.

New Earrings

I am pretty excited about my new pieces I have finished.
Hopefully I can take some pictures and load them tomorrow.

Man, I have this crazy rash that has me a bit freaked out...I'm going to the doctor AGAIN tomorrow. I am sure it's fine but I think it's getting worse. My whole body is covered now and it was really only on my arms, chest and back...so, I'm trying not to get scared. It started yesterday.
*sigh*

I am pretty excited. I finished 5 pairs!
To be honest, I had A LOT of the pieces already made from before so I didn't have to assemble as much as I usually do. I know I would have only made like 3 pair max if I started totally from scratch. I guess I am glad I had a bunch of extra pieces made after all!

It's good to be better...

Been out of commission for over a week!!!
I was SOOOO ILL.
Apparently I am deathly allergic to Tetracycline.
I literally had a fever 101-103.5 for 7 days!
Back and forth from the doctors office...blood tests...more antibiotics...it was BAD!
Packed in ice...NO MORE ICE BATHES!!
Well, at least I didn't go to the emergency room!
Almost rushed there twice when my fever got REALLY HIGH.
I was freaked out and kinda scared at those moments.
Lame antibiotics poisoning me!

Well, I am better now and I know NOT to ever take that again!
LOL!

I'm really weak and tired after all that so I have to take it easy but I wanted to post to let everyone know I just didn't fall off the edge of the Earth.
It was a scary episode but it's all over now!

I am so pleased with how much better my photographs are with the new camera. I think my next to do is definitely make a light box. I have seen several sites that have different ways to make them...Matter of fact, I saw one last night that looked fairly simple. I will have to try that one. I know it will only make taking photos of my work all the more easier since I won't be at the mercy of the weather and the day light!

FINALLY!
I finally have had time to finish some new floral pieces.
It's been ridiculously HOT here and I have spent much of my afternoon in and out of sitting in my tub trying to cool off. Last I checked at 4:00 it was 101 degrees...which means like 115 in my apartment. Our power went out yesterday and that was REALLY NOT FUN!
In to the bathtub I went!
LOL!
Thank goodness I can go sit in a tub full of cool water!

I digress.

Here are a few more pieces that I am finishing up...I need to figure out the best clip to use for these 2 pieces.
I am really impressed with how wonderful these look in the light.
I used Swarovski crystals sprayed all over to add texture and create brilliant sparkle and shine.

Wedding pieces

I just finished some of my new wedding pieces.
I actually think they are just pretty and anyone can wear them for any occasion.
The satin material and colors are what makes them a perfect accessory for a wedding party.
As always I used Swarovski crystals to make them dazzling bright in the light.
I wish the photos represented just how much they shine!

I haven't had a chance to photograph the new silk floral wedding hair pieces I have made. They are SOOO PRETTY! Ivory, white and baby pink! Every one of them is different because I placed the crystals on them all individually. It makes it more fun to do one at a time. Then they will all look different instead of cookie cutter. Tweezers never came more in handy out of the bathroom!

As soon as I have pictures I will load them up for you to see.
I think these are going to be really great items for the Bride or her wedding party.

I forgot how much I hate being ON A BUDGET!

I went supply shopping...and it has been months...but I have a few clients looking for custom items so I figured this is the perfect opportunity to pick up a few supplies while I was out. Good grief! There was SOOO MUCH new stuff I wanted...but didn't NEED...so, I was limited to what I could take home with me.
I can't believe that the holiday merchandise is ALREADY popping up! It's terrible! Just in to August and I see Christmas oriented stuff in boxes being unpacked!

New items

It was a bit challenging to take photos of my new pieces.
Clear crystal isn't the easiest to photograph and get any type of brilliance!
I think I am going to have to make a light box.
It was ridiculous how dark my original photos were.
I think I will probably end up retaking several more and changing them in later but I want to post these new items. Plus, it's soo overcast today I can't take new pictures till it burns off since I currently use the natural light.

The clarity in the clear quartz is beautiful!
Even though it was much more expensive then what I would normally purchase (since I am on a tight budget at the moment) I think the final pieces were well worth the money. I could see the difference like night and day!
I know, I know, you definitely get what you pay for!
I want to gradually start using AAA grade quality gems.
Phew, I NEED to get the business rolling before I can truly make that kind of investment on a regular basis...It will make ALL the difference in the quality and look of my pieces.
Ah, little by little...after all, this is really the first time since I started to make jewelry that I have had the time to invest in my company...now if ONLY I had the money to invest in it!
