New items

It was a bit challenging to take photos of my new pieces.
Clear crystal isn't the easiest to photograph and get any type of brilliance!
I think I am going to have to make a light box.
It was ridiculous how dark my original photos were.
I think I will probably end up retaking several more and changing them in later but I want to post these new items. Plus, it's soo overcast today I can't take new pictures till it burns off since I currently use the natural light.

The clarity in the clear quartz is beautiful!
Even though it was much more expensive then what I would normally purchase (since I am on a tight budget at the moment) I think the final pieces were well worth the money. I could see the difference like night and day!
I know, I know, you definitely get what you pay for!
I want to gradually start using AAA grade quality gems.
Phew, I NEED to get the business rolling before I can truly make that kind of investment on a regular basis...It will make ALL the difference in the quality and look of my pieces.
Ah, little by little...after all, this is really the first time since I started to make jewelry that I have had the time to invest in my company...now if ONLY I had the money to invest in it!

Sick...

Oh Man! Have I been sick! I woke up at 3:00 a.m. Wednesday morning with my throat swelling shut. Totally freaked me out! I went to the doctors today and have been resting. Unfortunatley nothing new has been made in the last few days.
However, I did just have a sale tonight! YAYS! I sold these Jade earrings with a crystal pair!

New Hoops

I spent last night finishing up some new hoop designs. They are simple and clean...perfect for anyone to wear. I have always loved the simplicity of hoops. Ha! Remember the 80's?! I think most of us had at least one pair! I suddenly had a flash of Sade and Jodi Watley. I had to put a bit of my stlye to these...what do you think?

Gifting

I was tickled to log onto my computer and find a letter from a friend of one of my clients. He politely requested help in finding her a gift from my site...because as he stated, "...I know she has bought a lot from you...you are her favorite."
YAYS!
So I gave a few suggestions of what I think she might like.
Who doesn't like to be someone's favorite?!
Makes me all warm and fuzzy.

How I LOVE Spring time.
Everything begins to bloom...FLOWERS everywhere!
If ONLY I wasn't allergic to them!
Ah HA! I have solved my dilemma!
My beautiful silk flowers will never wilt OR make me sneeze!
There is something ultra feminine about wearing a pretty flower in your hair.
Perhaps it reminds me of a time when I imagined things to be much more simple. Plus, it's such an easy accessory to pop in your hair for instant flair.
